		<description>Social media is a powerful tool. Proper use can lead to great success, but failing to understand it can break your brand. Toby Turner (http://www.youtube.com/tobuscus) put the ball in MTN Dew's court when he noticed their products could align with a bit that was part of his youtube personality. Fans of Toby flooded the MTN Dew Facebook page requesting at his order that Dew change the names of three of their flavors. The dilemma was: ignore the fans and face scorn from a very large number of people, or incur huge cost to answer a limited (though very large) number of people. The solution? WE DID IT! Dew noted the fans desire, and changed their Facebook profile picture to reflect this catchphrase, while we created new printable labels for fans of Dew and Tobuscus to print cutout and tape onto their bottles. Now they can enjoy their favorite intro while watching their favorite intro.

With some quick thinking and action we not only avoided angering fans we have new even harder core Dew fans that know "it's different on the mountain." MTN Dew is truly the soda of the people.
