U.S. Wheat
U.S. Wheat Associates had a problem: an outdated display piece explaining the American flour milling process to their global customers, one that was expensive to produce and a logistical headache to ship internationally.
Our team toured milling facilities to understand the process from the inside out, then explored several visual directions before the client landed on one. I developed an illustration style that fit both the content and the organization, then built a complete flour milling facility in isometric perspective, machine by machine, step by step. The client knew their industry cold and cared deeply about the details, down to which machines belonged on which floor of the facility. Balancing that precision against a visual flow that a first-time viewer could actually follow was one of the more interesting puzzles of the project.
After many months of close collaboration with the U.S. Wheat team, we delivered a display piece ready to be translated and distributed to offices and customers across the globe.
